- Coastal fog and low cloud usually form over the ocean first and are pushed onshore through gaps in the coastal hills. A shallow marine layer keeps that damp air right along the coastline. - Test the door's safety reverse at least once every four weeks: lay a 1½-inch-thick piece of wood flat on the floor at the center of the door and close it. Can you set up myQ on a LiftMaster opener?
Yes. Most recent LiftMaster openers have myQ built in and only need Wi-Fi and the app. Older units can take a myQ hub accessory. The opener, your Wi-Fi and the app are set up together on the visit.
Why does my LiftMaster work with the wall button but not the remote?
The remote or the opener's antenna is the usual cause: a dead remote battery, a lost pairing, or a damaged or corroded antenna wire. Reprogramming the remote or replacing the antenna wire normally fixes it.
Should I choose a LiftMaster belt drive or chain drive?
A belt drive is quieter and its belt doesn't rust in salt air, so it suits a garage next to living space. A chain drive costs less and works well in a detached garage. A wall-mount model is a third choice for low ceilings.
