How to Read These Numbers
Every range on this page is pulled from the matching service page on this site, so the cost guide and the service pages can never tell you two different stories. The bottom of a range is a straightforward job: standard single-car door, one failed part, easy access. The top is the harder version: a heavy or oversized door, corrosion that spread beyond the part that failed, or hardware upgraded to marine spec because the door lives within sight of the water.
The drive is on us anywhere in our six-town service area, and work starts only after you approve a written number. The service call fee covers the diagnosis, and it is applied toward the repair when you go ahead with it.
Garage Door Repair
General repair covers the mechanical failures that stop a door: worn rollers, loose hinges, frayed cables, bent panels. The service call fee is applied toward the repair when you approve the work. See the garage door repair page for the full service details.

Because a homeowner with a dead door at 7 AM should not have to hand over a phone number just to learn what a spring costs. Every range in this guide is the same one printed on the matching service page, and the number you approve on site is the number on the invoice. Publishing prices keeps us honest and saves you a sales call.
Yes. The range for a given service is identical in Pacifica, Montara, Moss Beach, El Granada, Half Moon Bay, and Daly City, and the drive is built into how we operate rather than billed as a line item. What changes between towns is the conditions: a bluff-top Moss Beach door and a sheltered Serramonte door can land at different points inside the same range.
Four things, mostly: the size and weight of the door, the grade of hardware the location calls for, how much corrosion has spread to neighboring parts, and access. A single-car door with one failed part sits at the bottom of a range. A heavy double door on an exposed lot, with rusted cables discovered next to the broken spring, sits near the top. You see the exact number before we start.
It is already in the ranges. Galvanized springs, nylon-coated rollers, and stainless fasteners are our standard spec on the coast, not an upsell, because standard zinc-plated parts fail early here. You pay once for hardware matched to the climate instead of twice for hardware that was not.
